Dear ACC brothers and sisters, 

Welcome to the 2025 ACC Missions Conference! 

The theme of the 2025 Missions Conference is “Global Missions at My Front Door”.  This year we are holding 3 tracks in parallel and have invited 3 inspiring speakers to share their missions experiences with ACC: Rev. Jonathan Kindberg (English), Rev. Andrew Chai (Mandarin) and Rev. Michael Lock (Cantonese).  

2025 marks an exciting milestone for ACC missions.  Our sister Christy Ho, who accepted Christ and grew spiritually here at ACC, received her calling to become a full-time missionary during the 2019  Missions Conference.  That calling ignited her burning heart for all nations.  We are excited to send Christy to Thailand to fulfill her calling this year.  It is deeply encouraging to see brothers and sisters across all three congregations coming together to support Christy to participate in God’s mission.

We also want to welcome two new members joining the Missions Committee (MC) this year: Martin Lau (Cantonese) as the lead for Short Term Mission and Mission Projects department and Vincent Kwong (Mandarin) as the lead of MC Education department.  We are grateful for the service of our two 2024 committee members on sabbatical: Elder Leo Yeung and David Wu.  We also praise God for the hard work of returning committee members Elder Ka Leung Lee (Cantonese) as Elder representative, Lily Ku (Mandarin) as MC Finance department lead, Jessica Chang (English) as MC Communications department lead, Bob Eng (English) as MC New Partnership department lead, Wei Hsu (Mandarin) as MC Prayer department lead and Erin Li (Mandarin) as MC Missionary Care department lead.

This year, one notable change is the timing of the Missions Conference.  By moving it from October to February, we pray this earlier date will better prepare our hearts and minds to discern God’s mission plan for ourselves for the rest of 2025.  The ACC church theme, “Building a Missional Community,” and the Missions Conference theme this year are both rooted in Acts 11:19-21.  May God use this conference and His word to speak to and move us to build ACC into a missional community.
